Learn to Drive with Omni Driving School

Omni Driving School is a driving school Edmonton learners can book online, with one-on-one lessons and free pickup. We are a driver training school approved by Alberta Transportation, and every lesson is with a certified instructor in our own car. We have taught 450+ students, and our pass rate is 99%, based on our own records.
Never sat behind the wheel? Our instructors are patient with beginners and nervous drivers, and they give you feedback during each lesson.

How It Works
You book everything on our Booking page, in four steps.
Enter your details. Include the address where you want to be picked up for lessons.
Pick your area and course. Your area sets your price zone, then you choose the course that fits.
Choose how to pay. Enroll now and pay later, pay by e-Transfer, or pay by credit card.
Take your first lesson. Your instructor picks you up and drops you off, free, at the address you gave.
On the Full Course, you finish the 15 hours of theory before your in-car lessons start.
Areas We Serve
We teach in five areas, and each one sits in one of two price zones. Pickup and drop-off for in-car lessons are free in all five.

Why Learn with Omni

Our Instructors

Every Omni instructor is certified, with 6+ years of teaching experience. They are patient with beginners and nervous drivers, and a 5-minute break is allowed in each lesson. Lessons can also be given in Punjabi and Hindi. Read more on our Instructors page.

Common Questions
Where can new drivers take lessons in Edmonton?
Omni is a driving school Edmonton new drivers can use without a car or a ride. We pick you up and drop you off, free, in all five of our areas. Office visits at Unit 3, 9817 44 Ave NW are by appointment.
What is the price of driving school?
In Zone A, the Standard Course with 10 hours of driving is $495 with classroom theory or $545 online. In Zone B it is $600 or $650. Hourly lessons are $50 an hour in every area. Every price is on the Courses page.
How long does driving school take?
The Full Course is 15 hours of theory plus 10 or 14 hours of driving. The Alberta Licence Upgrade, for Class 5 non-GDL drivers, is 6 hours with a certified instructor. All driving hours are to be finished within 6 months of registration.
Can I take the theory online?
Yes. Each package comes with online theory or classroom theory, and you pick one when you book. You finish the theory before your in-car lessons start.
Do you provide the car, and can I use it for my road test?
Yes. Every lesson is in our own car. You can also rent it for your road test for $90 in every area, subject to availability.
