A course for Class 5 non-GDL drivers

Our class 5 driving school Edmonton course for experienced drivers is the Alberta Licence Upgrade, and you can book it as one of two options. Both are offered to Class 5 non-GDL drivers only, so they are not for learners on a Class 7.
Each option gives you 6 hours with a certified instructor. The two options are named Classroom and Online. When you book, the office tells you what your chosen option involves and confirms your dates.
The upgrade suits anyone aiming for a non-GDL Class 5 licence. A typical case is someone licensed in another province or another country who now needs an Alberta licence.
Learning to drive from the start on a Class 7? The Full Course is the one to book.
What the Alberta Licence Upgrade includes
- 6 hours with a certified instructor. Every hour is one-on-one. Road training is only given in Omni vehicles.
- Two options to pick from. Classroom at $350 or Online at $400. The office explains your option when you book.
