The first step to driving in Alberta
Our knowledge test prep Edmonton learners can book is aimed at one goal: passing the written test that comes before an Alberta Class 7 licence. That test is the first step for every new driver in Alberta, and you need to pass it before you can hold a learner's licence.
The test is taken at a registry agent. Its questions come from the Driver's Guide for cars and light trucks, published by the Government of Alberta. The guide covers safe driving practices, driving laws and road signs.
The test has 30 multiple-choice questions, and you need 25 correct to pass. Small details, like stopping distances or the meaning of a sign shape, are easy to miss. Preparation turns those details into easy marks.
What to know about Knowledge Test Prep
Knowledge Test Prep is a course of its own, booked apart from our in-car packages. These are the facts that shape it:

- Where the test happens. You sit the test itself at a registry agent, not with us.
- One price everywhere. $200 plus 5% GST, whichever of our five areas you live in.
- Details set at booking. The office confirms the format, the date and the time of your prep with you.
- Three ways to pay. Enroll now and pay later, send an e-Transfer, or pay by credit card.
