New to driving in Beaumont?

If you are looking for a Beaumont driving school that suits first-time drivers, Omni picks you up at home and teaches you one-on-one. Beaumont is south of Edmonton and pays the same prices as the city. Your instructor brings Omni's car to your door, and the lesson ends back at the same address.
Feeling nervous before your first drive is normal. Our instructors are patient with beginners and nervous drivers, and nobody else is in the car to watch. You get feedback as you go, and a 5-minute break is allowed when you need a pause.
Parents may wonder what comes first. The answer is theory: 15 hours, online or in a classroom, finished before any time behind the wheel. That way the rules are already familiar when the in-car lessons start.

Beaumont driving school questions
Can beginners with no experience join the lessons?
Yes. Omni is a driving school Beaumont beginners can start with, and the instructors are patient with learners who have never driven. The 15 hours of theory come first, so you begin the in-car lessons with the basics studied.
What should I bring to my first driving lesson?
Bring your licence, learner's or driver's, to every lesson. Wear closed-toe shoes. Be ready at your address 5 minutes before the start time.
What can I expect during a driving lesson?
Your instructor sits beside you and gives feedback while you drive. A 5-minute break is allowed. Across the course, lessons cover city driving, highway driving, parking, lane changes, traffic circles and residential streets.
Will I be driving on my first lesson?
Yes. The theory is finished before your first in-car lesson, so the time with your instructor is spent driving.
How much are lessons in Beaumont?
For a new Class 7 learner, the 10 hour package costs $495 with classroom theory or $545 with online theory. A driver working toward a non-GDL Class 5 licence can take the Alberta Licence Upgrade from $350. GST is added on top of each amount.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
Give at least 48 hours' notice. A late cancellation costs $50. To let us know, call or WhatsApp (780) 975-6000.
