Omni Driving School Ltd runs this website and the booking and contact forms on it. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and who sees it. It also says how long we keep it and how to ask about it.
Who We Are
Omni Driving School Ltd is a driving school in Edmonton, Alberta. Our office is at Unit 3, 9817 44 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5E3, and visits are by appointment only. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page.
What We Collect
When you use our booking form or our contact form, we may ask for:
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number
- your address, for pickup and drop-off
- your date of birth
- your licence details
- the days and times you are free for lessons
- the area and course you choose
- any message you write to us
During lessons. Lessons may be recorded on audio and video, for safety and for the quality of our teaching.
Why We Collect It
- To book your course. Your name, email and phone number let us confirm your booking and reach you about lessons.
- To plan your lessons. Your address tells your instructor where to pick you up and drop you off. Your availability helps us set lesson times.
- To match the right course. Your date of birth and licence details help us check which course fits your licence. They also go into your course records.
- To answer you. If you write to us, we use your details to reply.
Who Sees It
- Omni Driving School. Our office and your instructor see the details they need to book and teach your lessons.
- Our email provider. Booking and contact messages reach us by email, so they pass through our email provider.
- Our payment provider. If you pay by credit card, your card details are handled by our payment provider.
Each provider has its own privacy policy, and it applies to the part of the service it handles.
How Long We Keep It
We keep student records for two years, as our terms say. After two years, we delete them.
Cookies
This website uses the cookies it needs to work. With your permission, it also uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google Ads. Google Analytics shows us which pages visitors read and how they found us. The Google Ads tag tells us which of our ads lead to a booking. Google may also use it to show our ads to people who visited this site.
Your choice. On your first visit, a small notice at the bottom of the screen asks whether you accept these cookies. Until you press Accept, they stay off. In that time Google gets only basic signals without cookies, such as a page being opened, and uses them to estimate visits in total. If you press Decline, the cookies stay off and any Google cookies left from an earlier yes are removed. Your browser remembers your answer for one year, and then the notice asks again.
Changing your mind. Press Cookie choices at the bottom of any page to see the notice again and pick the other answer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off personalized ads in your Google account's ad settings.
Asking for a Copy or Deletion
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to delete it. Email info@omnidrivingschool.com or call (780) 975-6000 with your name and your request. We answer from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm every day.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
