Pay by the hour, wherever you live
Our Brush-Up Lesson offers affordable driving lessons Edmonton drivers pay for by the hour. The rate is $50 an hour, and it pays for a certified instructor's full attention, one-on-one, in an Omni car.
The rate is the same in every area we serve: Edmonton, Beaumont, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Leduc. Pickup and drop-off are free at the address you gave when you registered.
Want a set block of time instead? The Brush-Up page also has the Winter Brush-Up 2hrs. The Full Course gives Class 7 learners 15 hours of theory plus 10 or 14 hours of driving.
What an hourly lesson includes
- One-on-one time. Just you and a certified instructor with 6+ years of teaching experience.
- Our car. Road training is only given in Omni vehicles, so you do not need your own.
- Free pickup and drop-off. At your registered address, in any of our five areas.
- Feedback as you drive. Your instructor gives feedback during each lesson. A 5-minute break is allowed.
- Real road skills. Lessons cover city driving, highway driving, parking, lane changes, traffic circles, residential streets and road test preparation.
Hourly driving lessons let you buy instructor time without committing to a package.

Who hourly lessons suit
- Learners who practise with family. Add time with a certified instructor between your drives at home.
- Drivers with a road test coming up. Road test preparation is part of what we teach. You can also rent our road test car for the day.
- Nervous drivers. Our instructors are patient with beginners and nervous drivers.
- Drivers with one skill to work on. Parking, lane changes, highway driving or traffic circles.
- Drivers without a car. Every lesson is in our vehicle, with free pickup.

How to book an hourly lesson
Decide how many hours. One hour for a single skill, or a few hours spread over the weeks before your test.
Book online or by phone. Use the booking page and pick the Brush-Up Lesson, or call (780) 975-6000. WhatsApp works on the same number.
Get ready for pickup. Be ready 5 minutes early at your address, with your licence and closed-toe shoes.
Drive and get feedback. Changes to your pickup address are agreed with your instructor first.

What is the cost of driving lessons?

How long are driving lessons?
The Brush-Up Lesson is priced per hour, so you choose the length. A 5-minute break is allowed during a lesson. The Winter Brush-Up is 2 hours, and the Full Course has 10 or 14 hours of driving.
Where can new drivers take lessons in Edmonton?
We pick you up at the address you registered, in Edmonton, Beaumont, St. Albert, Sherwood Park or Leduc. Our office is at Unit 3, 9817 44 Ave NW, Edmonton, and visits are by appointment only.
