Lessons for learners north of Edmonton

Omni Driving School works as a St. Albert driving school that comes to you, with free pickup and drop-off for each in-car lesson. St. Albert lies just north of Edmonton, and it pays the same prices as Sherwood Park and Leduc. Your instructor arrives at your home, so each lesson begins where you live.
The road to your licence runs in a clear order. First come 15 hours of theory. Pick online theory and you can study at your own desk in St. Albert. Pick classroom theory and you make your own way to those classes.
Once the theory is complete, the in-car lessons begin. Each one is one-on-one with a certified instructor. Road training is only given in Omni vehicles, so you do not need a car of your own.

St. Albert driving school questions
Do driving schools provide cars for lessons?
Omni does. Every in-car lesson takes place in Omni's own car, and your instructor brings it to your St. Albert address. Learning in a family car is not part of our road training.
Can you take driving school online?
The theory part, yes. You can take the 15 hours of theory online or in a classroom, and you choose when you book. The driving hours always happen in the car with your instructor.
How do I get the driving school certificate?
You earn the U-certificate, the Notice of Driver Education Course Completion, when you finish the course with the right marks. Class 7 and Class 5 GDL holders need 15 hours of theory and at least 10 hours of driving. The pass marks are 80% in the classroom course and 75% in the driving lessons. A student below 75% may need at least 2 more hours.
How long does drivers training in St. Albert take?
Plan on 15 hours of theory, then 10 or 14 hours behind the wheel, depending on your package. You have 6 months from registration to complete the driving hours.
Can I change my pickup address?
Yes, if you agree the change with your instructor first. Pickup and drop-off normally happen at the address you gave when you registered.
