Road test preparation Edmonton learners plan for includes one practical question: which car will you take the test in? If you do not have one, or would rather not use the family car, you can rent ours.
The Car Rental for Road Test is $90, wherever you live in our five areas. It is not part of any package, even the Full Course. You book it and pay for it separately.
Cars are subject to availability, so book as soon as you know your test date. If the car is not used, there is no refund.
Skills matter as much as the car. Road test preparation is part of what our lessons cover, alongside city and highway driving, parking and lane changes.
Ways we help before your test
Road test preparation Edmonton learners book with us comes in four forms, from the car alone to a full course.
- Car Rental for Road Test. An Omni car for your road test, booked on its own.
- Winter Brush-Up 2hrs. Two hours of one-on-one practice with a certified instructor, in all five areas. See the Brush-Up page.
- Brush-Up Lesson. $50 an hour, in all five areas. See hourly lessons.
- Full Course. For Class 7 learners starting from the beginning, with 15 hours of theory and 10 or 14 hours of driving. See the Full Course.
Every lesson is one-on-one in an Omni car, with free pickup and drop-off. Your instructor gives feedback as you drive.
Road test car price
All prices plus 5% GST.
The price is the same in Edmonton, Beaumont, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Leduc. The rental is priced on its own and is never included in a package.

Who rents our road test car
- Drivers with a test booked and no car. Our car for the road test solves that.
- Families who would rather keep their own car out of it. You rent ours for the test instead.
- Omni students finishing a course. The rental is not in your package, so book it separately.
- Nervous drivers. Our instructors are patient with beginners and nervous drivers. Book a few practice hours before the day.

How to rent the car
Have your test date ready. Know your road test date and time when you book the car.
Book early. Use the booking page or call (780) 975-6000. WhatsApp works on the same number.
Pay separately. The rental is paid on its own. Pay later, or pay by e-Transfer or credit card.
Take your test. Any traffic ticket during the road test is yours to pay. If you do not use the car, there is no refund.
If you want practice first, book it as its own lesson. Bring your licence to every lesson and wear closed-toe shoes.

Do driving schools provide a car for the road test?
We do. The Car Rental for Road Test is $90 in all five areas. It is booked and paid separately, subject to availability.
How can I practise driving without a car?
Train in ours. Road training is only given in Omni vehicles, with free pickup and drop-off. A Brush-Up, by the hour or as the Winter Brush-Up 2hrs, works in all five areas.
Do your lessons prepare me for the road test?
Yes, road test preparation is part of what we teach. Lessons also cover city and highway driving, parking, lane changes, traffic circles and residential streets. Our records show a 99% pass rate.
How does driving school work?
On the Full Course, you finish 15 hours of theory first, then drive one-on-one with an instructor. The road test car is always a separate booking. If the car is not used, there is no refund.
How do I start driving lessons?
Book on the booking page or call (780) 975-6000. To cancel a lesson, give 48 hours' notice or a $50 fee applies.
